The RS is considered by many to be the most widely utilized BBS wheel. Auto manufacturers from Europe, Asia and North America included these wheels on specific cars. It's modular 3-piece design allows wider "lips" to be added to these wheels which makes them desirable to car enthusiasts.

As I don't see any homage being paid to this post, I'll put in my 2 cents: The BBS RS wheel is one of the closest to race specific wheels put on the market in recent decades. The spun aluminum barrels and highly optimized weight to streingth ratios make for a wheel that is actually undervalued, even at it's current cult status with german car enthusiasts. The fact that they are no longer manufactured has lead to endless calls and messages to BBS and BBS NA requesting that the line be reinstated. THis may be one of, if not THE overall best automotive wheels of all time. Quote me on that in 50 years. I think you'll find it's true.
BBS RS is one of the classiest wheels of all-time, with the huge lip (size varies) and classic spoke design. I also really like the BBS LM.
